In answer to your question, I am sure there are plenty of decent conservatives, but they're not screaming on Fox News so they don't get heard. I served in the military when I was younger and most people I served with were fairly conservative, but most were reasonable and sensible. There were a few that had gone off the deep end, and at the time were Limbaugh listening "ditto-heads" but they were the minority. So I know sensible conservatives are out there. Whether they can retake their party from the nuts is another question entirely.
